The EGOS Experience Pack is designed for patients who live outside Barcelona or Catalonia and wish to undergo surgery with our team at our main clinic. It is also ideal for those who want a specific surgeon from our team or simply prefer a fully supported experience without having to organise everything themselves.
How many days should I stay?
How many days should I stay?
It depends on the type of procedure. For most surgeries, we recommend between 4 and 7 days in Barcelona: the day before the operation, the hospital stay, and the initial recovery days before returning home. Your coordinator will provide a precise estimate during your consultation.
Can I bring a companion?

Yes—and we highly recommend it. The post-surgical unit includes a room for two people: you and your companion. You won’t need to come alone or worry about your companion staying elsewhere.

We coordinate transport with you: we search for options, advise you, and organise transfers from the airport or station. The cost of the plane or train ticket is not included in the package, but we ensure everything aligns with your surgery schedule.

The post-surgical unit is located just a few minutes from the clinic, in one of Barcelona’s most central and peaceful areas. The room includes two beds, a private bathroom, and everything needed to make your recovery as comfortable as possible for both you and your companion.

During your stay, you will receive daily post-operative care from our nursing staff, lymphatic drainage as medically indicated, and continuous monitoring from the team. This is not a hotel—it is a care-focused environment designed for your recovery.

If your recovery requires more time than planned, we will assess it together. Your stay in the post-surgical unit can be extended subject to availability. The priority is that you do not return home until the medical team considers it safe.

Before leaving, you will receive a detailed recovery guide with everything you need to know. We also stay in contact with you remotely during your recovery: if you have questions, notice anything unusual, or need guidance, the EGOS team will continue supporting you even after you are back home.
