Erik Putzbach trusts clínica EGOS for his 36th cosmetic surgery

At Clínica EGOS, we are proud to have earned the trust of one of Catalonia’s most recognizable public figures, Erik Putzbach, who recently visited our facilities for his 36th aesthetic procedure. Known for his luxurious lifestyle and ongoing pursuit of physical perfection, Erik once again chose us to continue his transformation. On this occasion, he underwent three simultaneous procedures: a rhinoplasty, a lip-lift, and a lipotransfer all performed by the renowned Dr. Tiago Gomes, co-founder of our Barcelona clinic.

The pursuit of perfection

For Erik, undergoing surgery is more than just an aesthetic enhancement it's a journey of self-confidence and well-being. Although he has been undergoing procedures for years, he always emphasizes the importance of trusting qualified professionals. “The cosmetic surgeries I’ve had are valued at over €80,000, and I always stress the need to go to surgeons who are members of SECPRE to avoid unqualified practitioners in the field,” Erik says, referring to the Spanish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

Despite his experience, Erik knows that surgery is not a game, and he approaches it with the seriousness it deserves. For him, the goal has always been clear: to feel good about himself.

Preparing for surgery: A cruise with flavor

This time, Erik had to make an extra effort before his lipotransfer: gaining weight. Due to his tall and slim build, Dr. Tiago Gomes recommended putting on a few kilos to ensure the best results in fat extraction. Erik accepted the challenge and decided to combine preparation with pleasure, embarking on two cruises through the Mediterranean. There, he indulged in the onboard cuisine and successfully gained the 5 kilos needed for the procedure.

Three procedures in one: Rhinoplasty, Lip-Lift, and Lipotransfer

Erik places complete trust in Dr. Gomes, and upon returning to Barcelona, he underwent three cosmetic procedures in a single operation:

• Rhinoplasty: This was Erik’s fifth nose surgery. The goal this time was to slightly lift the tip of his nose, achieving a more refined look that better suits his facial features.
• Lip-Lift: This procedure involved lifting the upper lip a technique that shortens the distance between the lip and the nose, resulting in a more youthful appearance.
• Lipotransfer: The most complex of the three, this procedure involved extracting fat from Erik’s back (an area commonly referred to as the “love handles”) and injecting it into his cheekbones and temples to enhance facial volume and definition.

Recovery and what’s next

After spending one night under observation at our clinic, Erik is now back home recovering and organizing his extensive wardrobe, getting ready to return to the runway. “Now I have to get back to my normal weight so I can fit into my dresses,” he jokes, as he prepares to walk in a December fashion show featuring exclusive designs by Wendy Ruiz.
